Experience

Mr. Zimmerly has broad-based experience in strategic planning and marketing management with his focus being on consumer service and product companies.

From 1986-1995 he owned a 50% interest in The Dallas Marketing Group (DMG). During his association with DMG, the firm was recognized as one of the 100 Leading Management Consulting Firms in North America by Consultant News. Additionally, he has been president of Zimmerly & Co., Inc. (ZINCregistered) since the firm's incorporation in 1988. ZINC is fully integrated marketing services firm with annual revenues of $4MM.

Mr. Zimmerly’s line marketing experiences were gained during the 1974-1985 timeframe with Citicorp Credit Services, Frito-Lay, and General Foods. At Citibank, he was Vice President & Regional Director responsible for the marketing and sales programs supporting the Citibank Financial Account, an innovative multi-service financial product offered to domestic consumers in the United States. At Frito-Lay he was a Marketing Director where his assignments included brand management of CHEETOS® and DORITOS® brands, management of the Marketing Services Group and management of the New Product Development Department. He gained his initial marketing experience at General Foods on the Shake N' Bake® brand.

During 1969-1972, Mr. Zimmerly served as a Lieutenant in the United States Navy with responsibility for 125 employees at the Commissary Store on Guam, Marianas Islands.

Academic, Professional and Service

Mr. Zimmerly holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana and a MBA from the Colgate Darden Graduate Business School at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia. He has been elected a Certified Management Consultant (CMC) and a member of the Institute of Management Consultants. He has been active in the Highland Park Presbyterian Church (HPPC), Dallas, and Mendenhall Ministries, Mendenhall, MS, in youth education initiatives. He is a reserve deacon at the Highland Park Presbyterian Church.

He is also actively involved in civic projects in Dallas as a board member of the Bachman Lake Foundation.
